ONDP Candidate Teresa Armstrong Launches Campaign

May 12th, 2018

Provincial NDP Candidate Teresa Armstrong launched her 2018 election campaign Saturday, May 12th at her Campaign Headquarters on Hamilton Road.

In her speech to volunteers and community members Armstrong addressed the main issues affecting her community and the results of 14 years of liberal policies that have negatively affected hydro rates, hospital wait times, and overall affordability.

Elected in 2011 Teresa Armstrong has focused on issues related to seniors, long-term care and mental health care in Queen’s Park. “I have fought to improve life for the people of London Fanshawe and I look forward to continuing that fight. Under this Liberal government I have seen life get harder in our community. And we know the Conservative’s plan to find $6.1 billion to cut from government services is not going to solve surgery wait times, hallway medicine and underfunded schools. “ Armstrong continued, “I am proud of the plan we have created to make life more affordable in London-Fanshawe and look forward to delivering on our promises and giving people the access they deserve to health care, dental care, education and child-care.“ “Voters don’t have to choose between bad and worse this election. They can choose the NDP plan and vote for change for the better.”

Voters in Ontario will have their opportunity to choose their representatives on Thursday, June 7th.
